In a major breakthrough a way has been found to grow blood vessels wthin lab-grown tissues. Researchers from Rice University and Baylor College of Medicine have broken one of the major roadblocks on the path to growing transplantable tissue in the lab have found a way to also grow the necessary blood vessels and capillaries needed to keep the tissues alive.
