Can studying super babies find the strength gene? Myostatin is the protein that tells your muscles when to stop growing. Two babies Super Babies have been born recently with a mutant gene that prevents them from producing enough myostatin. Scientists are studying this myostatin mutation to see if we could all become as muscle bound as these tots.
